Agonice con elegancia

"Agonice con Elegancia", adaptation of a story by the Nicaraguan writer, Irma Prego. Macabre comedy about domestic violence, directed and staged by Ishtar yasin and Elena Gutiérrez, receives the National Theater Award from the Ministry of Culture of Costa Rica.

Arbol de la esperanza

“Árbol de la esperanza” by Ishtar Yasin, about the life and work of the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. Directed and staged by Elena Gutiérrez and Ishtar Yasin, it premieres at the opening of the Latin American Theater Festival, at the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino Amphitheater, Santa Marta, Colombia.

¿Me entiende?
1997 

“¿Me entiende?” by Ishtar Yasin, a testimonial work, written with the support of a Workshop grant from the Ministry of Culture of Costa Rica, premieres at the Fanal Theater of the National Center of Culture. With the set design by Cesar Maurel, the staging by Elena Gutiérrez and the direction and performance of Ishtar Yasin, along with the actor, Andrés Montero.

el cielo

“Los que pintan el cielo” by Ishtar Yasin. An interdisciplinary work where dance, theater, music, plastic arts and audiovisuals are integrated. The action takes place on the margins of a world where human production has become a commodity, including the human being, who sells his skills and creative capacity. Produced by the Center for Teaching Research and Artistic Extension of the National University of Costa Rica.
